About the Foundation

The Stage Africa Trust Fund is a programme run by THE STAGE AFRICA FOUNDATION. The word S.T.A.G.E is a combination of words which stands for (S)-SMART (T)-THINKERS FOR (A)-AFRICA’S (G)-GROWTH & (E)-EMANCIPATION. The acronym reveals the true spirit of The Stage Africa Foundation as a platform that brings together exceptional thinkers anywhere in the world with breakthrough ideas and projects to connect with African community to share ideas, innovations and breakthrough keys for Africa’s growth and liberation. To that effect, this platform is committed to connecting Africa to global ideas and trends that will contribute to sustainable growth & development.

The community also brings together leading experts in government, economy and academia in Africa and in the international community who constantly provide the highest quality research, policy recommendations, and analysis on a full range of issues in Africa basically focused on the following pillars of social development: (1) Governance, (2) Economy and (3) Education.

The Stage Africa Foundation then presents such research recommendations from the experts to government, economist, educationists and the general public through TV talk programs, conferences, publications, debates etc. Whereby we have the capacity and resources, we partner with government, private companies and international communities to implement such research recommended that seems vital especially when they concern the development of youths and women in Africa.

Key Coordinators of the Trust Fund


Ambassador David Egwu is Co-chair, The Stage Africa Foundation’s Steering Committee. He is an entrepreneur per excellence, Ambassador David James Egwu is the Chairman/CEO of EDEN Integrated Services Limited a fast growing PR, Media and Event management and consulting Firm currently based in Abuja and the UK. He is also Co-founder of Young CEO’S Business Forum ( He is an ardent believer of national transformation stimulated by young exceptional Nigerian youth.

A youth enthusiast, motivational speaker, life couch, and social crusader, David continue to resonate as the voice of the disenfranchise. As a student at the university of portharcourt, he featured prominently as a voice against several social vices amongst his fellow students and as well as lecturers and the entire university community. He also held several political and leadership positions and was decorated with several awards of excellence.

Known for his exceptional capacity to inspire the youth positively he was in December 2011 appointed and decorated as United Nations youth Ambassador for peace. He is also currently the Deputy Youth Leader Global Harmony Association-Africa, Nigeria Chapter; He has always been an influence peddler and a positive influence amongst the youth as he partners with Golden heart foundation every year to organize the biggest youth empowerment gathering in Nigeria. David remains a source inspiration to lots of Nigerian artistes and beacon of hope for the less privileged in the society.


Ambassador Utchay Odims is Co-chair, The Stage Africa Foundation’s Steering Committee. He is a United Nations Youth Ambassador, and have spoken at the UN World Youth Conference in New York. Ambassador Utchay is a Media/Hr consultant, Certified Neuro Linguistic Programing Consultant, Radio/TV Host, CEO and Publisher and LR TV (a solution site for relationship issues, news inspirational quotes and job creation for young people). He is also the publisher (a site were every ones voice and opinion matters).

Ambassador utchay odims(mabs) is the MD/CEO of the award winning fastest growing renting, leasing and car hire company in Nigeria & America JONELLIES AUTOS ( with hundreds of brand new cars and jeeps. Multiple award winning Youth & Leadership Icon both in Europe,USA and Africa, Because of his passion for to see our african women function with high sense of purpose driven by integrity organized and directed a beauty peagant to give a voice to our young ladies in Nigeria called Miss United Nations Nigeria (the first ever free and fair pageant in Africa) with 5 categories for single ladies,married women,teenagers and ladies that have kids. Among his numerous achievements discovered and trained in one of his numerous youth training events the former most beautiful girl in Nigeria (mbgn) Anna banner mbgn 2013/14.


Princess Gloria Ahmed is a Principal Partner of the Stage Africa Foundation, National Campaign Coordinator of The Stage Africa Trust Fund and Executive Coordinator of African Women Achievers Summit & Awards-AWAS (an annual women leadership and business summit organized by The Stage Africa Foundation). She is presently a Deputy Director in the Federal Ministry of Transport, Abuja and Member, Board of Trustee, Human Rights Commission, Abuja. Gloria is actively involved in Women, Youth and Community Development at the Grassroot level. She is the current National Vice President of the Mada Youth Development Association, Director of Socials, ABU Alumni Association, Abuja Branch and the Public relations Officer, George Marshal Centre for Security Studies Germany’s, Alumni association, Nigeria Branch.

Gloria is highly principled but simple and sociable; she has travelled far and wide and has friends all over the world. Her hobbies include the following: cooking, singing, dancing, empowering Women and youth and organizing programmes and events.

Princess Gloria Ahmed a committed Christian, is happily married and blessed with amazing biological and foster Children.


Sima A. Patel is a member of The Stage Africa Foundation’s International Board of Directors and an International Representative of the Foundation. She is also the International Campaign Coordinator of The Stage Africa Trust Fund to End Unemployment in Africa (an arm of The Stage Africa Foundation that seeks funds and additional resources through Global Donations to fund programs and projects targeted at promoting enterprise and creating employment opportunities in Africa). As an Indian American entrepreneur, she is the Founder/CEO of Rapid Trainers Chicago, USA. She is a reputable International Business Development Consultant and Project Manger.


Fred James is Co-founder & Director of Human Resources for The Stage Africa Foundation. Fred James is a pastor, youth Advocate, an inspirational speaker, entrepreneur, writer and Gospel Music Minister with a difference and CEO GYTEN.


God’spower Akunne Wealth is Co-founder and Director of Creative Concept/Programs for The Stage Africa Foundation. God’spower Akunne Wealth is a Minister of Gospel, an inspirational speaker, a youth advocate, an activist and an advocate of participatory democracy and good governance. He is a computer scientist and media professional. He is the Creative Director and Chief Operating Officer of Presswire Network (The Stage Africa Foundation’s business consortium of creative designers, project managers and media experts). He is a Principal Partner in Young CEO’S Business Forum (the largest business consortiums of African Young Business CEOS, Political Leaders & Educationists and organizers of Young CEO’S Business Summit). His interest in sustainable economic development in Africa has positioned him as a young social entrepreneur that Africa should watch out for.
